After some disappointing rain earlier in the week lower temperatures and snow have returned to Northern Vermont. On Tuesday night Stowe received 8-12" and then another 3" over Wednesday night. Check out these pictures from today. MORE HERE.

Stoweked
The first thaw of the season hit Northern Vermont this weekend. Saturday was warm and sunny making for an almost Spring like day. Stowe was packed with tourists for the long holiday weekend, but the park was prime and Spruce provided an afternoon getaway from the long lines on Mansfield. Today was less optimistic with low hanging clouds creating low visibility and the slush from Saturday created a crust overnight. Still Curtis and I found some new zones. Photos below.

Hit or Miss Continued
After a fantastic Saturday at Stowe Curtis and I decided to head up to Stowe again on Sunday to search for some more powder. The mountain is still very hit or miss right now, but there continues to be some good snow out there. More pictures here.

Hit or Miss
I headed over to Stowe today with Curtis Martin to search for some powder. Vermont has seen a few different weather fronts move through the area in the last week and the Mansfield stake is now at 56-inches. Still the skiing was hit or miss as the wind continues to be a factor and not to mention temperatures in the single digits. We still were able to find some deep powder as the evidence shows below. More here.

A New Year
I haven't gotten around to posting in a while. I've been busy skiing, traveling and now I'm back at work after the Holidays. For New Years I went down to visit my brother Andrew in New York City to see the Disco Biscuits in Time Square. See some of the photos below and more here. Burlington got over 30" of snow last weekend, but unfortunately the mountains were really hit or miss. More pictures to come soon and it looks like we are going to get some more snow Thursday and Friday. May you all have a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010! Cheers!
