Trapp Family Brewery

Today I got the opportunity to go check out the Trapp Family Brewery in Stowe, VT. The small facility is located in the basement of their Delibakery and has a 15 barrel brewhouse in which the Trapp Family aims to produce 60,000 gallons annually. The lead flavor - Trapp Lager, is already a staple at the finest beer bars in the Burlington area. Learn more about the Trapp Family Brewery or see more photos.

Opening Day at Stowe!

Today is opening day at Stowe Mountain Resort. I was lucky enough to get out for a few runs when the lifts began to turn at 8am. It was cold and windy and did get icy later in the morning but nothing east coasters aren't use to. Looks like the sun is out now and it should be a great afternoon if you can get out. Night of the Living Zoo

Magic Hat hosted the Night of the Living Zoo at the Smithsonian Zoo in Washington, D.C. on September 29th featuring Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. See some of the pictures below.

North Coast Music Festival

Usually first year festivals are a disaster, but the North Coast Music Festival in Chicago was far from it. Performers included Umphrey's McGee, Moby, Pretty Lights, The Disco Biscuits, Grace Potter, Benny Bennasi, Paul Van Dyk, Lupe Fiasco and Del La Soul. The incredible line up, plus a great venue and weather, made for a phenomenal weekend. Check out all my photos from the weekend here.

Newport Folk Fest

I went to the Newport Folk Festival this past weekend. Hosted in Newport, RI the Newport Folk Festival in one of the most famous Music Festivals in the world. Since it was founded in 1959 it has hosted many great acts including Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Joan Baez. See more photos from this years festival here.
