Magic Hat Mardi Gras

The Magic Hat Mardi Gras parade was this past Saturday. I was able to shoot the parade as the over 30 floats made their way down Main and Church Streets in Burlington. See more here.

The Tram Haus Lodge at Jay Peak

Kat and I spent Saturday night at the new Tram Haus Lodge at Jay Peak Resort. We were both blown away by how amazing our room and the hotel was. The Grift played in the Tower Bar, and took down the house with covers like "Possum" and "Sweet Caroline". My fist still hurts from fist pumping with Keets. Sunday brought heavy snow and looks like it will continue on and off for the next week. MORE PHOTOS HERE.

First Chair

This Thursday I got the chance to head up to Jay Peak Resort for the day with Mike Rosenberg to film a live broadcast for work. We don't usually get the chance to head up to Jay Peak for first chair during the mid-week, so we jumped on the opportunity. When we arrived at Jay we were blown away. There was over a foot of snow on the ground and not a cloud in the sky. We met up with Brian Keet from Jay Peak and had, without doubt, the best day of the season. MORE PHOTOS HERE.

Back At It

After some disappointing rain earlier in the week lower temperatures and snow have returned to Northern Vermont. On Tuesday night Stowe received 8-12" and then another 3" over Wednesday night. Check out these pictures from today. MORE HERE.

Early Bird Gets The Worm

Curt and I ventured up to Stowe today for a few turns before work. It wasn't the best day behind the camera but we managed to get a few shots in and had a lot of fun in the process.

Stoweked

The first thaw of the season hit Northern Vermont this weekend. Saturday was warm and sunny making for an almost Spring like day. Stowe was packed with tourists for the long holiday weekend, but the park was prime and Spruce provided an afternoon getaway from the long lines on Mansfield. Today was less optimistic with low hanging clouds creating low visibility and the slush from Saturday created a crust overnight. Still Curtis and I found some new zones. Photos below.
